Mindful Meditation on the Hill

Robin Carnes and Karen Soltes have met with Congressman Tim Ryan in order to promote and provide mindful mediation practice to Capitol Hill. Ryan along with Rep. Tony Cardenas (D-California) formed “The Quiet Caucus,”  offering a  weekly group meditation for interested members of Congress.  A separate weekly meeting is held for congressional staffers.

Congressman Ryan promotes these sessions as an antidote to the high levels of stress and distraction facing the staffers. Approximately 30-40 staffers attend each session.
