Bill Turco is a certified public accountant and has over 19 years of exempt organization tax compliance and tax consulting experience. Bill oversees the tax compliance for the D.C. Metro tax practice which is made up of over 650 nationally and internationally-operating charitable and membership-based tax-exempt organizations. He coordinates the tax preparation and tax compliance process in order to provide a high quality and consistent tax product to the firm’s exempt organization clients. In addition, Bill provides tax consulting advice for a variety of exempt organization clients including schools, churches, national and international charities, as well as professional membership organizations.
Bill is also part of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. He regularly presents to groups on a variety of topics and speaks at national and regional conferences on accounting. He is also the co-author of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Not-for-Profit Tax compliance program.
