Bonnie Jackson is a RYT 500, WAET, and military spouse. She began deepening her study of therapeutic yoga and mindfulness seeking self-regulation and wellness in her early years of motherhood. While growing her teaching experience and continually seeing benefits from her own practice, Bonnie pursued Warriors at Ease to meet the specific needs of her own community— needs both visible and invisible.
With an academic background in Music (MM Theory/Composition), Bonnie has experience in teaching early childhood through university levels, and served as a Department of Defense Education Activity Grant Manager within the University of Georgia system before staying home with her young children. She and her family are currently stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, where Bonnie is piloting comprehensive community and Active Duty Resilience and Yoga Programs. In her second decade as an Army spouse, she aims to establish sustainable WAE programs at every base her family will call home.
